As a painter working at “finding my style & finding my voice”, I’m discovering the more I bring play into my creativity, the more I loosen up and love not only what I create, but the act of creation. The art world seems overwhelmed with “how to’s”, and maybe it’s time to stop looking for answers, and just “do”.
The lines in the lyrics of “Closer to Fine” that resonated with me the most are:
“There's more than one answer to these questions
Pointing me in a crooked line
And the less I seek my source for some definitive
Closer I am to fine, yeah”

I've submitted the largest selection to date for this fundraiser, plus original watercolour ornaments, and am excited to have two of my larger (over 200) paintings showing.
I am happy to support this gallery alongside other talented artists; there are over 500 artworks, including sculptures, in the show!
